Disney princess themed cupcakes

Tomorrow is a sweet girl's 9th birthday.

And since every girl loves Disney Princesses (whether it's a young girl or older girl), I enjoyed making these so much.

Mini cupcake decorating class

Yesterday we also did a mini cupcake decorating class as part of the JCI Female Family brunch.

The group consisted of 16 kids between probably 2 to 12 years old.

We made a whale out of fondant, topped the cupcake with some frosting and added some sprinkles. The smaller children just had frosting and sprinkles to add to their cupcake.

It was a very quick session and could not pay attention to that many kids at once, but I had fun doing it.

Under the sea birthday cake

Today is my niece's 6th birthday. Well officially, because we had a birthday party yesterday.

Either way, she got 2 cakes. 1 for the party and 1 for school.

Whole wheat apple muffins

Today's muffins are made with whole wheat flour, apple sauce,  cinnamon and apple chunks.

this morning for a brunch. 

Left out the glaze for those who are counting calories.
